Iain began his writing career as winner of the Best Script in the All-England Theatre Festival of one-act plays (British Theatre Association) and 3 of his plays were produced on the London Fringe. He has an MA in screenwriting (London University of the Arts) and is a commissioned scriptwriter of 6 screenplays for London, Madrid and Hollywood production companies. He read for the Art's Council of GB and for Euroscript Media ll. He published a book on forest sculpture, an illustrated children's book, a chapbook of his poetry, a book of three professional stage plays and his latest film scripts "Cameron" and "Evidence of Light". Iain won a gold award at the New York Industrial Film Festival for his educational drama "Game Over" and has written conference high budget event spectaculars. In his corporate capacity he produced and directed commissions for the UK Ministry of Transport. His book on beating prostate cancer, "APRIL TO APRIL", featured in The Economist sponsored "War on Cancer" conference 2020 and is endorsed by Princess Dina of Jordan. Of his latest film script "Evidence of Light", BBC script editor Anne Woods said: "Such a treat to read an intelligent screenplay that has strong and interesting characters, is cinematic and tells a wonderfully inspiring story". Iain enjoys reading his poetry in Granada poetry slams, and is currently writing a new novel. Iain spends his writing and family time between England and Madrid, Spain.
